Most Recent Empties of 2016

Happy Tuesday everyone. It’s been a while since I’ve done an empties post and it seems I have built up quite the collection of stuff I’ve used up. Prepare for a long post people because there’s a lot of products! So let’s dive right into it shall we? Here are the products I’ve completely used up over the past few weeks.

Let’s start with hair products. There are posts about both of these products on the blog. I’ve been using the TRESemme Leave-in Split End Conditioning Treatment for a while now and I love it and have already repurchased this a few times. It’s a leave-in conditioner that you can put in your wet or dry hair to tame your frizz as well repair your split ends, also it smells so damn good! I get mine at Walmart for about $7 CAD. Not only is it a great product but also super affordable. I also have been using the Marc Anthony Second Day Clear Dry Shampoo. Shelby and I have raved about this dry shampoo before so I’m sure you know the drill. It’s clear which means no weird white build up and the formula is great for freshening up greasy hair.

I have a few primers in my empties this go around. I finished up the Too Faced Hangover Primer and I really liked it. It’s super hydrating and helps keep my makeup on throughout the day. The packaging is cute but the pump makes it a little difficult to get the last little bit out when you’re running low. I would definitely repurchase this primer again though. I also used up the mini size of the Makeup Forever Mattifying Primer which I’ve used in almost every makeup look since I’ve got it. I love using this stuff in my t-zone on a daily basis as that’s where I get super oily throughout the day. The formula keeps me matte for ages but doesn’t make my skin feel tight or dry. I’ve already repurchased this in the full size because I need this in my life. I also finished the Urban Decay Chill Cooling and Hydrating Setting Spray. I love the Urban Decay sprays to prime and set my face and will be using them for years to come.

Two different concealers as well! I FINALLY finished the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer. Now I have heard people rave about this stuff over and over again so I had to give it a try. Unfortunately it just didn’t do it for me. I was so dissapointed because it looked so good on everyone I saw who used it but it make my under eyes looks dry and patchy! I didn’t mind it for spot concealing but for highlighting (which I mostly use my concealer for) it just didn’t work. So sadly I will not be repurchasing and stick to my Nyx HD Concealer. I also just finished up the bareMinerals Powder Concealer. I love this stuff and I just did a review on it that you can read here.

Okay let’s wrap it up with a couple brow products and a foundation. I used up both the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Whiz in “Medium Brown” and the Nyx Micro Brow Pencil in “Taupe”. Both of these are great brow pencils and are super similar, so honestly save yourself some money and go with the super affordable Nyx one! And last but not least I used up my L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation. This is my favourite drug store foundation hands down and you know I went out right away to repurchase.

What products have you used up lately? Let me know in the comments!

Love your post! I really want to try the too faced primer! When I use up my sample primers I am going to grab that one! If you want to get the last little bit I would recommend cutting it open and scraping the rest into a jar! Just an idea for products you really love!

Would love it if you checked out my empties post! futurenursemiriam.wordpress.com
