Tartlette Times Two

How many palettes is too many palettes? Because honestly I can’t get enough. I had wanted both of these palettes since I had laid eyes on them and now I finally have both!

First things first about both of these palettes is the packaging is great. They are thin and sleek and with a large mirror so they are great for travel, also they are just so pretty. It’s also not cheap material so I don’t foresee these breaking on me any time soon. Now onto the product inside.

First let’s discuss the original Tartelette Palette. This palette contains all matte shades from the neutral purple and brown range, it also has a matte black which is always good to have in a palette. The colours are all very pigmented, creamy and blend like a dream. I love a good shimmer shadow but sometimes you need a good matte eye look. Also purples and browns are probably my favourite colours to use on my eyes so this palette is great for my day to day looks for work. Jaclyn Hill does a great look with this palette that you can watch here – I recreate this look a lot with this palette!

Now onto the newest one – the Tartelette In Bloom Palette. This palette has more of a range from pinks to browns with a few shimmer shadows as well. The formula of the shadows is just as great as the original palette. Easy to blend and super pigmented. I also really like the colours in this palette. They are all warm shades that work really well with my brown eyes, and the shade “Funny Girl” is the perfect all over lid or inner corner shimmer shadow. I created a look with this palette that you can see here.

In the end both of these palettes are some of my favs. I recommend either one (or go crazy like me and get both!) depending on what colours your are looking for in a palette.

What are your favourite palettes at the moment? Let me know!

  1. It’s literally a neutral-lover’s dream palette. Not a single off color, like the chocolate bar’s throw me off sometimes but these are perfect

  2. These look so pretty! I think I’d be more drawn to the In Bloom palette since there is a bit of shimmer. And yes, no amount of palettes are too much! Something us bloggers can understand! haha. xo J
