NYX Products You Need

If you’ve been reading our blog for a while now you’ll know we are HUGE supporter of NYX Cosmetics. As a drugstore brand they have really dong everything right. Their pigmentation, their formulas and their price points are amazing so I thought it was only fair they finally get their own post.

I’ll start with an oldie but a goodie, the NYX Above & Beyond Full Coverage Concealer – this stuff is amazing for two uses. The #1 way I use it is to clean up any bleeding around my lips from (liquid) lipsticks or around the tail or your eyebrows. It’s the perfect colour for highlighting around those areas and has a thick enough consistency to wipe any area clean. The second way I like to use it, is to cover blemishes. Once again the consistency is thick enough to cover any spots without having the mess around with colour correctors because honestly sometimes I just don’t want to, you feel me?

Next up is the NYX Matte Liquid Liner which we already did a full review here but it really is just as amazing as we said. Its easy to apply, long lasting and extremely fast drying which are three musts when it comes to liquid liner if you ask me. Speaking of liquid, the NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipsticks are AMAZING. They are hydrating, long lasting and so smooth. After trying and loving the Soft Matte Lip Creams I had to try these and finally we were lucky enough to find them instore! If you haven’t tried any of these, you must. I’m already tempted to buy them in every colour. Speaking of NYX lip products, have any of you tried the “Lip Lingeries” if so, let me know in the comments how you liked them please.

Now for the two newest products in this round up! The NYX Contour Palette is so good I’ve actually put my Anastasia Beverly Hills palette away for the past couple weeks. My favourite shades in the palette are definitely “Cream,” “Ice Queen,” “Toffee” & ” Sculpt”. These shades do a great job to brighten, highlight and shade your face to perfection. This palette is non powdery, highly pigmented and a little seriously goes a long way and for only around twenty-five dollars you really can’t go wrong. Last but not least; the NYX Micro Brow Pencil comes in a great selection of shades and is a literal dupe for the Anastasia Brow Wiz – which as much as I love I would just rather spend $12 over $27! The tip is fine and the formula is well pigmented and the spoolie is the perfect size for brushing through your brow hairs. If you love the brow wiz but don’t want to spend the money definitely check this one out!

Now it’s your turn, what’re your favourite NYX products? Let me know in the comments below.
