I had wanted to try the halo eye look for a while now but wasn’t quite sure how to approach it. I didn’t want to go for colours that were too intense for my first go so I used a burgundy and MAC’s Vanilla pigment and I think it turned out pretty good! I wore this look for a night out with Shelby to go see comedian Chris D’Elia. If you ever get an opportunity to see one of his shows I highly recommend it! He is hilarious. Anyways, back to the look. I used one of my new favourite foundations – the Makeup Forever HD Foundation. It’s lightweight and lasts forever so I knew this would be a good choice for a night out. I wore a nude lip because I knew it was going to be a long night and I didn’t want the commitment of a bold lip (lazy girl problems). I only used the Ardell Demi Wispies for this look as I didn’t want to hide the eyeshadow too much.
What do you think of the halo eye look? Are you a fan?
