My Go To Makeup Look For Any Occasion

Key Products : Armani Luminous Silk Foundation Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in “Trooper” KoKo Lashes in “Goddess” Becca Cosmetics X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Glow Palette Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in “Lolita”

If I had to create a venn diagram based off my makeup look preference – one side being glam the opposite being simple – I’d say you’d always find me in the middle. These days when I sit down to do my makeup I’m never looking for a quick five minute face or something I can wear to a ball. If someone was to ask what look I feel most confident in, this would be it. These days I’m just looking for something that is simple, pretty and customizable. Bright-dewy skin, a great eyeliner/false lash set and my favourite matte lip. I find I like these looks because they work for everyone. They can completely customize it to their preference; swap out the intense lashes for something less dramatic or the matte lip for something glossy.

I’ll always start out with whichever foundation I trust the most on my skin; these days that’s a tie between the Armani Luminous Silk or L’oreal Infalliable Pro Matte Foundation. I find natural or matte foundations are best when you’re planning to drench yourself in pounds of Becca Cosmetics “Champagne Glow” Palette. I prefer my highlight to be strategically placed – cheekbones, inner corner of the eye, nose, chin, etc. – rather than brought out through a dewier foundation.

I have always been a big wearer of the cat eye even before this blog started a year and a half ago – which just goes to show it’ll never go out of style. And, these “Goddess” lashes from KoKo add the perfect amount of drama whether it’s day or night.

The final step to this look is this stunning Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick in “Lolita” now this lip product has been sold out for as long as I can remember, so when I saw that it was available you better believe I ordered it as fast as humanly possible. I didn’t realize how much I needed this in my life until the first time I wore it and now I’m having issues not grabbing it any chance I get. Quick tip: If you’re someone who applies lip liner before liquid lipsticks like myself try H&M Lip Definer in “Au Naturel” the perfect match to Lolita!

What is your confidence boosting look?

    • Thank you! There has been three formulations; the second being a bad batch & the third being the official colour they’re sticking with which is the one in this post. I still love the original the most but they’re pretty close in colour.
