Top 10 Must Have Products Of 2015

2015wrapup

Now, of course there are the usual holy grail’s like Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner and Cover Girl Lashblast Mascara. But I thought I’d change it up and pick products that I not only discovered this year but have become obsessed with. These products will definitely be following me into 2016 :

Neutrogena Hydrating Makeup Remover Wipes
I have been using no name brand makeup wipes for quite some time because honestly I didn’t think there was a difference between any of them. But, these definitely changed my mind. These keep my skin extremely hydrated while still removing even the most stubborn of makeup stains.

Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
This is probably my favourite purchase of the year. Although extremely expensive, this stuff makes me skin look flawless. Its perfect for those dry skin ladies like myself. It blends seamlessly into the skin while leaving you with a natural look. I definitely can’t see this foundation ever leaving my collection.

Rimmel London Exaggerate Automatic Lip Liner
I was pretty late to this bandwagon aka I found it sometime around November but I will say this quickly became my favourite drugstore lip liner. The soft texture, extreme pigmentation and precise applicator make it pretty hard to beat. Not to mention the colour selection leaves you with endless possibilities. If you haven’t tried these out yet I seriously recommend doing so.

Kiehl’s Skin Rescuer
If I had to assign this moisturizer an emoji I would give it endless “raising hands in celebration” emojis. This stuff has saved my dry skin, I cannot go a day without it. The only downside to this product is the packaging, how can something so amazing only come in a 75mL container!

Kevin Murphy Angel Wash & Rinse
If you want your hair to be thicker, shinier, healthier, softer etc. etc. etc! You need this. That is all I have to say. All my thoughts and feelings on these products can be found in this post, so head there!

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette
I got this last year for Christmas and it quickly took over my face. Not only does it have every neutral shade you may need, but it also has some great purple shades which we all know are my favourite. This palette has shimmers and mattes and can create a million and one different looks which you can find plastered all over this site. BUT, the best part is it smells like chocolate.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hr Blushes
These blushes are definitely the best in my collection. Not only is the pigmentation amazing, but they seriously last forever. The packaging is adorable and the collection selection is great for all skin tones. The price point is a bit high but I’d say they are worth every penny.

Urban Decay Complete Coverage Naked Skin Concealer
This concealer hit the internet like a tornado. You couldn’t watch a youtube tutorial or scroll through Instagram without hearing or seeing this amazing product. It’s the perfect consistency for under the eyes, the perfect shade for highlighting and it doesn’t crease. I don’t think anything gets better (in my opinion.)

Ardell Lashes – Demi Wispies, Scanties, Soft Touch
Name them, I’ve tried them. Ardell Lashes quickly became my go to lashes this year. My all time favourite are definitely the #152 but you really can’t go wrong with any of the Ardell Lashes. Depending on how natural or glam you want to go, they’ve got you covered.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit in “Light”
I will say this is the only contour kit I have tried so I’m a little bias. I love using the Banana shade combined with Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder and “Fawn” to sculpt out my cheekbone. Depending on the intensity of my contour I will also use the other two contour shades, but they also work great as eyeshadow crease colours. I think the great thing about this kit is that it works for everyone. Whether you’re a beginner or pro this palette blends beautifully and it’s actually fairly affordable as well.

What were your favourite products this year?
