Colour Pop Cosmetics Review

ColourPopReview

One makeup brand that we’ve been dying to try is Colour Pop Cosmetics. Not only is the packaging adorable but the price point is super affordable. As self proclaimed makeup addicts this was one brand we definitely had to try. After having a couple months to give each product a try we thought now was the time to give you the 411!

Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks : These are the perfect affordable liquid lipstick. If you want a matte lip that lasts for ages then these are a great choice. There is a wide variety of colours to choose from and the product is super pigmented. The formula is easy to work with but also dries quickly enough that you’re not waiting forever before it becomes smudge-proof. We recommend lining your lips before applying these to keep them as long lasting as possible. These are some of the longest lasting lip products we’ve tried and for only $6 USD why not give them a try!

Super Shock Cheek : The formula of these is so buttery and blendable, not to mention the colours are gorgeous! For the affordable price there is no reason why these should not be added to your collection. The product is very buildable, whether you want a subtle sheen of one application or you can build it up to get that Amrezy glow. Since they are just a creamy formula they are also a great to use as a base for any of your powder highlighters as well.

Super Shock Shadows : As for the shadows they have quite the selection, these four are from the Shaaanxo collections (no longer available) they are a lovely selection of two mattes, two shimmers. Now the shimmers are beautiful and some can even be used as a cheek highlight for something a little more intense. They can be blended out, packed on the lid or sprayed with a little Fix+ to create a wet-glossy lid. The possibilities are endless. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the matte shades. They are a bit patchy and don’t blend out as smoothly as the shimmers. The only way I found these worked is mixed with a powder – close to the same colour – or packed on the lid to create a more clean look.

Let us know if there are anymore Colour Pop products we should try or any other brands you’d like us to review…
