Another month has gone by which means – MY BIRTHDAY IS COMING! I’ve had these products and tools for a good amount of time now. I’ve been religiously using these for the past month and I feel like they’ve really rejuvenated my look. That could just be in my head, but I honestly feel like my hair has never looked better and my makeup has never been so fresh looking. Shall we get started?
Kevin Murphy Angel Wash + Rinse : Last time I went to the hair salon my lovely hair dresser convinced me to start investing in my hair. I’d always complained about how dry and lifeless my hair was becoming, as well as how thin I was finding it. She convinced me that the Angel Rinse + Wash was the way to go and she was right. This shampoo and conditioner duo is hydrating, volumising and increases cellular regrowth which is exactly what I needed not to mention it smells amazing!
Nars “Deep Throat” Blush : I have been reaching for this blush almost every time I’ve gotten dolled up this month as you can see here, here and here. I love the slight shimmer it has and the deep pink works really well for my light skin tone. I do find myself forgetting I own this blush but every time I rediscover it, it quickly becomes my favourite all over again. I have a love for a good blush so next up on my wish list : Nars Sin!
Real Techniques Multi Task Brush : In recent months my favourite foundation brushes were Sonia Kashuk “No.4” and Morphe “s94”. But I can honestly say this brush is my perfect foundation brush. It’s dense enough to not absorb a lot of product but soft enough to spread evenly leaving an airbrushed finish. If you haven’t tried applying your foundation with a fluffier brush I highly recommend it.
MAC Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish in “Soft & Gentle” : This was my first highlighter ever, crazy I know! Clearly, I’ve tried tons since but I keep coming back to this one. It’s a beautiful shade of peach/gold and works for tons of skin tones. My favourite way to apply this is on the tops of my cheekbones and cupid bow with a fan brush and then spray a bit of Fix+ to amplify the glow.
Sephora Bulls Eye Lash Applicator : As we all know I’m clearly obsessed with a good false lash. This tool is my secret weapon. If you struggle with applying false lashes I seriously recommend it. The rubber makes for a comfortable handle and the pointed end works perfectly to get rid of any excess glue or to force those sticky corner down.
