My Top Five Concealers

Smashbox: I’ve been using this concealer since before this blog was started. Its the perfect pale blush shade to swipe on before your everyday concealer to counteract any blue underneath your eyes. It’s quite a thick consistency but it blends out smoothly and doesn’t crease at all.

Almay: This is my latest find and I’m really glad I decided to pick it up on a whim. At first application I couldn’t believe how great my under eyes look. They were bright, smooth and soft. I powdered with the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder and was extremely impressed. It’s budget friendly and has the technology to adjust to your shade making it impossible to mess up.

Urban Decay: If you’ve been following this blog for a while, you’ll know this is my holy grail concealer. It does exactly what the tube tells you it will. Its light, full coverage and extremely smooth. Not to mention the applicator dispenses the perfect amount of product so you won’t have to go back in for seconds.

Maybelline: If you’re looking for something budget friendly, brightening and super lightweight this is your concealer. It goes on like a second skin and barely needs any blending. This product is perfect to throw in your purse for touch ups. The only downside is the sponge tip isn’t exactly the most hygienic but as long as you aren’t sharing it with friends I don’t see a problem.

NYX Cosmetics: This concealer is the perfect multipurpose concealer. You can use it under your eyes and for blemishes. But, my favourite way to use this product is for cleaning up your brows as well as highlighting underneath the brow. Its the perfect consistency to use as an eyeshadow base, as its tacky and will hold onto any product you put on top of it.
