I know what you’re thinking, ANOTHER Sephora haul? But really, who can say no to all those points especially when there are so many coveted items out there. A few of these things have either been sitting in my “loves” section crying for my attention or I saw great reviews on other blogs and just couldn’t say no, you know how it is right? Now everyone feel special because these came about four days ago and I haven’t touched them. The definition of beauty blogger problems if you ask me.
Where to even start – when the Becca X Jaclyn Hill came out with “Champagne Pop” I was so excited but in the end decided against it. Don’t get me wrong its beautiful, but wasn’t in the budget that month. This month however was another story, so Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector in “Moonstone” was coming home with me . Now if you saw this post about five months ago you’ll know I fell in love with the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation but not so much the price tag. I also saw on Kim Kardashian’s twitter that it was being discontinued which I’m still not sure is true or not (I’m leaning towards not.) Either way with six weeks of school done and 4X points I thought it was time to finally bite the bullet and purchase it. ‘Cause treat yourself, right?
I’ve been seeing this Tarte Creaseless Concealer every where lately and with my Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer coming to an end I thought I’d try a new one. I did a small swatch when I received it and it is extremely thick so I’m intrigued to see it in action. Of course, if you shop Sephora you know its always full of sample goodies. I picked up a 100 point sample of the Anastasia Clear Brow Gel to try out since I haven’t been loving my tinted brow gel lately. A long with that came a “Seven Day of Shadows” from Urban Decay and a bag full of a couple lip products, perfumes, mascaras and of course I couldn’t say no a sample sized Kat Von D Tattoo Liner.
Now for my favourite purchases of the bunch. These were my MUST-HAVE’s when it came to actually placing this order. This Sephora SunBleached Filter Palette literally took my breath away when I opened it. The packaging is to die for, with a giant mirror and the cutest shadow names. I’m a sucker for a cute shadow name so when I saw that one of the shadows was “Selfie” I knew this palette was mine, it couldn’t have been more fitting. Then, I stumbled upon this Marc Jacobs Twinkle Pop Eye Stick in “Honey Bunny” – again, how cute is that – on another blog and I don’t think it even took me three seconds to scope it out. God, am I glad I did because this is the most beautiful cream shadow I’ve ever seen. Look out for some makeup looks ASAP.
Did you pick up anything from the 2-4X point event? Let me know.
