I May Have Fallen In Love

It’s possible to fall in love with an eyeshadow, right?

I can honestly say this is probably my favourite look of mine on this blog so far! You know when people say “my makeup is too pretty to wash off” that is how I felt by the end of this night.

Last weekend Krystin and I went to a friends birthday, so it felt only fitting I finally use this MAC eyeshadow in “Club” because the drinks were flowing. Since the day this shadow came into my life I was looking for the perfect way to use it and I’d like to think I succeeded.

I prepped my lids with MAC “Soft Ochre” Pro Longwear Paint Pot before applying Too Faced “Salted Caramel” as my transition colour. I blended MAC “Espresso” into the crease and on the outer corner then applied Club all over the lid blending it into that outer corner. Added my usual Kat Von D Tattoo Liner and for a bit more drama I glued on some “Double Up” Ardell Lashes.

For the face I started with this oil-based primer from Hourglass, which is perfect for those dry skinned girls who want to give matte foundations a try. With that said, I love this L’Oreal Infalliable Pro Matte Foundation for long nights out. I contoured with my new favourite AnastasiaBH Contour Kit and my usual blush and highlight. For lips I wanted that perfect muted barbie pink, so I paired the Annabelle liner in “Hot Pink” and MAC’s “Fleshpot”.

What’s your favourite lipstick combo right now? Let me know.
