My Top Five Beauty Products Of July

july favourites

Since we haven’t gotten around to filming any videos lately – seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever been this busy – I thought I would round up my favourite beauty products of the month for old times sake. These products are all pretty new to me, but they’ve also become a must whether I’m going natural or full faced for the day.

Anastasia Contour Kit in “Light – Medium” : In the past I didn’t think I needed a full contour kit, but since I was entering this course I thought it was time to bite the bullet and purchase something that would work on almost anyone. At first swipe I was in love, of course I already know Anastasia products are amazing but this kit is so smooth and blend-able. I’ve also started to mix the banana shade with the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder and my under eyes have never looked better.

Ardell “Demi” Lashes : These have been my go-to lashes, they’re long but natural enough for everyday – if you ask me at least.  I have always stayed away from falsies just because I hated the chore of applying them, but after a quick tip from my teacher I am quickly becoming a pro.

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask : I’m not a huge lip gloss / lip balm lover but when I heard a million great reviews about this mask I thought I’d give it a try. I’m so glad I did, it is the perfect final step to your night time routine. The formula is extremely moisturizing and doesn’t leave a waxy layer sitting on your lips like most lip balm’s.

Make Up For Ever Pro Bronze Fusion in “25I” : I saw a ton of reviews on the matte shades of this bronzer but I felt I had enough matte bronzer, so I went for a “iridescent” finish. Of course I fall for anything with a swirly, pretty package so I had to have it. The formula is a gel to powder, and it feels really great on the skin. It blends well and gives you a sun kissed glow. I did see a bunch of reviews about how non-pigmented it was, but I find if you use a duo-fibre brush the colour pay off is great.

CoverGirl The Super Sizer Mascara By LashBlast : I did mention this mascara in one of my Weekly Wrap Up‘s but it has quickly become my go-to. Of course I have always been a fan of the LashBlast formula’s but this is a different story. I usually hate waterproof formulas but this is amazing. The wand is small and thin and really grabs onto every lash. It gives you more length, extra volume and fans out your lashes perfectly.
