There is something about talking about beauty trash that us beauty lovers enjoy. It gives us a chance to hear about what products people have loved enough that they’ve completely finished or just used up to get rid of. Either way we get to know their thoughts on these products. I , like Shelby, have been saving my “beauty trash” for an empties video that there just hasn’t been enough time to film. So before my Sephora empties bag became too full I’m sharing with you some of the products I’ve used up in the past couple months.
Let’s start with with skin care shall we? My holy grail cleansing oil has got to be the Boscia Makeup-Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil because I’ve yet to find something that takes my makeup off better! I have definitely repurchased this and probably will continue to do so till the day I die. The other skin care product that I’ve used up is the mini Glamglow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment. When my skin was going through it’s super dry phase this stuff was great! It’s quite pricey for the amount you get though and I have since found a hydrating mask that is just as great and half the price so I probably won’t be repurchasing this.
If you’ve seen any brow posts on this blog you know that I love the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow products so it’s no surprise that I got through a Brow Whiz. I have already got another one on the go and if you want to read my thoughts on them you can read this post here. To go with my lovely done brows I finished a Benefit’s They’re Real mascara. This is still one of my favourite mascaras, but their Roller Lash mascara has currently stolen my heart so I’ve been using that. BUT I will definitely be getting this mascara again because I feel like it’s a staple in my makeup collection. To get rid of those under eye circles I used up a NYX HD Concealer. This concealer is definitively going to be a repurchase. It’s affordable and the quality is awesome!
The final products I’ve used up are the Kat Von D Lock ‘N Load Setting Mist and the Marc Anthony 2nd Day Dry Shampoo. The setting spray was really nice, but like I’ve said before I’ve yet to find a setting spray that really blows me away. So while this stuff was nice, I don’t think I will be repurchasing this again. As for the dry shampoo you’ll know that I’v been using this stuff forever now and still absolutely love it. It never leaves build up in my hair and if you’d like to hear more about it you can read this post here.
