I know what you’re thinking “that’s a lot of makeup” but for a night out its necessary if you ask me. But, anyways its been a while since I’ve worn a true smokey eye so I thought a night out on the town would be the perfect excuse to resurrect it. I started by using “Dayclub Abiza” as a transition colour and then used “Raven Corbeau” all in the crease and all over the lid. I put one coat of Buxom Lash Mascara on and then used Ardell Natural Lashes to thicken up my own, and as always the Kat Von D liner created the perfect precision cat eye. For the lower eye, I added the two shadows together and blended them underneath then added the Marc Jacobs Highliner on the waterline. I must say this is my first Marc Jacobs beauty product but I will definitely be buying more, the creaminess is on another level! For the face I didn’t want to do too much to draw away from the eye but I still wanted to glow. I took the Hourglass palette, mixed all three highlights on a big powder brush and swiped it across my whole face and did the same with Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer. I put a bit of definition into my cheeks with the Hoola Bronzer and added the Marylou Manizer on to the tops of the cheekbones, down the nose, on my brow bone and on the inner corners of my eyes – did I mention I loved this stuff? I didn’t want to add t0o much colour into my cheeks so I added a bit of the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick on to my cheeks to blend everything together.
