An Urban Decay Dupe

NYX Cosmetics HD Photogenic Concealer vs. Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage ConcealerThese products are quite the mouthful, but with long names comes amazing products. I have been using the NYX Cosmetics concealer for a while now but when the Sephora VIB sale presented itself I took the opportunity to pick up the Urban Decay concealer. Which you would know if you had read this post. The consistency and formula are basically identical, both non-drying and blend extremely well. For both these products I use the lightest shade which not only brightens the under eyes but does a great job at hiding any imperfections. Depending on where you purchase the NYX concealer you can get it for anywhere between $5-$8 where the Urban Decay concealer is $34.

Now the main difference I have found with these concealers is the size and the packaging. NYX comes with .11oz where the UD comes with .16oz. Now the Urban Decay packaging is the winner in my books. It’s not only sleek but the flat applicator makes it so easy to apply and the pigmentation is amazing. These products are so identical I actually have a hard time choosing which one to use everyday, so I won’t. I’d say the only way to decide is your budget and how much you’re willing to spend.

Have you tried either of these concealers yet? Let me know your thoughts.

  1. I absolutely love the nyx HD concealer its been my holy grail for sooo long! I actually ran out about a week ago and had to buy a new one and decided to go with the Seventeen concealer which is actually pretty similar to the nyx! loved your post xx

  2. OMG yesss! I have been wondering what the NYX HD concealer could be compared to. Love it!!!
