As you know from other posts we got into Vegas around 2PM and went straight to the mall – we found these simple but sophisticated dresses and thought they’d be perfect for our first night on the town. We got invited to a “boutique lounge” called Gold and it really is true, being a girl in Vegas is so much easier than being a guy, we got free drinks til 3AM. Unfortunately we only lasted til about 1AM since we had been up so early that day, but the drinks were good and so was the music. We’d call it a successful first night out in Vegas.

The next night we got dressed up and decided to go see Cirque Du Soleil ‘The Beatles : Love” at The Mirage. It was one of the best cirque shows we have seen, it followed the journey of The Beatles from start to finishing playing all their top songs from Hey Jude to Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, words can’t even describe the greatness of this show.

After the show we had decided to join some friends at The Wynn @ Encore to go see Major Lazer at a night swim bar called XS – although we weren’t exactly dressed for a night swim. We spent the night sipping drinks and dancing to the music and we may or may not have gone in the pool in our clothes as well as left our heels somewhere at the club but “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” It was a fun night to say the least.

Our last night in Vegas, we decided to go see another Cirque show, cause you can never see too many right? We’ve came to the conclusion on this trip that we’re going to see them all before we die. We went for a nice dinner (thanks dad!) at Phil’s Italian Steakhouse just inside Treasure Island, so we’d be close to the theatre. It was a nice restaurant, although neither of us had Italian or steak so we can’t comment on that, all and all it was a good meal. The show was called Mystere, and we must say the acrobatics were amazing, but just like the title it really was a mystery. We both agree, it was the perfect ending to an already great trip.
